STRANGE DAYS
AND NEW WAYS

Moving from an apartment into a single room had a major influence on my art. I moved from creating art in my living room with vinyl on the turntable to drawing at local coffee shops and music venues.

I began creating smaller series. The "Octopi and...",  "Misplaced Cosmonaut"  and "Hitchbot Tribute" were some.

ALIENS IN
OUR MINDS

I have had a strange obsession with UFOs and Aliens since childhood. To say the least, metaphysical topics and little grey beings have abducted my heart and found their way into my art.

I try to approach the subject without ridicule, albeit sometimes lightly. My 2014 solo show, "See The Unseen", at SLG Publishing
Art Boutiki in San Jose was one of goals achieved.

STRANGE CREATURES
& SKULL BIRDS

Metaphors abound within this parallel world of strange creatures.
My first real series was called, "Plight of the Skull Birds" for the first group show I curated at On The Corner Music in Campbell, California.

Bottleflies were created for a group show at Psycho Donuts .

I expanded on their existence to say the least.

DREAMS
& WHIMSY

There have been a slew of group shows with a multitude of themes, ranging from cuteness to just strange.

Some one-off pieces and small series can be anything from visions of the afterlife to a panda with a hankering for more salt.

VECTOR
ILLUSTRATIONS

With a degree in Art New Media, vector illustrations are part of the package. From Aliens to some interesting experiments, they are very fun to produce.

WHY NOT?

Draw my dog. Draw my car. Paint this. Paint that.

Sometimes I like the challenge of something different.

A challenge of skill is a needed exercise. From gifts to unpaid commissions, I have received plenty of request and filled them.

A few one offs and a tribute to my friend find their way here too.

SKETCHY
TIMES

From sitting in a laundromat waiting for clothes to dry to watching musicians with only a few minutes to draw them live.

Quick drawings and live art from Nicolson's Musicafe in Folsom to Go Go Wash and Dry in San Jose and a slew of places in between.

Some pieces are based on songs, some are fun moments from my mind and others came from special request. Don't asky why the Beatles are there, but the Elton John show was legally sanctioned.

A little Ink... tober spilled in too.
